Meet-Up itinerary:
There is no set itinerary planned. Naturally people may want to participate in certain local activities together, but only participate if you feel comfortable doing them. The Takeover organiser(s) are ultimately responsible for the meet-up, but you are also responsible for yourself and those in your group at all times.
I can however recommend and take campers on a group hike along the river to Keld which is know as the Keld to Muker Circular with amazing views. If you go to my hiking page at
https://www.instagram.com/wondering_woo/profilecard/?igsh=czZrdGowYW5uZGEx you will see this route.
On the final evening, join a group chill out by the River Swale to regale the tales of your tentbox adventures and what you have planned for the rest of the year

Campsite rules (please check if there have been any changes when you arrive at the site):
In order to ensure the TentBox Community maintains its great reputation, and everybody stays safe, it’s important that we follow the campsite rules at all times.
Please read the full list of campsite rules here:
Liability is not accepted by Usha Gap Farm Campsite to any person visiting, for any personal injury, loss or damage to any property including, motor vehicles and personal effects, however caused or sustained.
We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these terms and conditions or, who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the site immediately
We are a family site, catering for families and couples so are not suitable for noisy groups of any sort. For the consideration of all campers we have a rule of quiet time between 10.00pm and 8.00am so everyone should get a good night’s sleep. Please keep noise down after 10pm at night, with being in a valley voices can carry and you might not realise how loud you are. There’s no loud music allowed at any time, campers come to Usha Gap for the peace and relaxation. Please report any concerns you have with regard to noise and behaviour at Reception.
DO NOT enter farm barns or sheds, without permission. Please supervise children at all times. This is a working farm with many potential dangers. For safety reasons we do not allow children to ride bikes or play in the Farmyard and in the area at the front of Reception.
Please Keep your dogs under control on leads when walking around the campsite and keep to areas with no stock. No fouling on the campsite, if so please dispose in bins provided.
DO NOT climb dry stone walls. Please help us look after dry stone walls, please always use the gates and don’t climb over the walls, they are very old and fragile and should they collapse because of this, the rebuilding costs are very costly.
Please ensure gates are closed after use.
Please discard all your rubbish in the bins provided.
We do not allow smoking in and around the premises.
DO NOT release lanterns, they are a fire risk and a danger to farm animals.
Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a fire pit or similar container and kept of the ground. You can borrow our fire pits or you can bring your own fire pits, we have logs and kindling to buy or you can also bring your own.
DO NOT put hot coals into the ashbin, wait until they have cooled down.
